Day 2 of no power after Hurricane Milton

Things are kind of getting back to normal. I picked up my mother from my younger brothers house today. The place we live in a is an over 55 community in Tampa Bay, FL. The front and both sides of the house were rinsed off today by me which took over 2 hours on each wall, with a garden hose and a sprayer. I managed to clean it off and tomorrow, I will handle the 6 or 7 pieces of vinyl siding that are actually broken and need to be replaced. This place looks very good! There are many others around me that didn’t do so well at all. This is what I know about Florida homes. The home that you’re in needs to be built (in my case manufactured) after 2004 because the codes were changed that year because of Hurricane Andrew from the 1990s. If you’re buying a new home or re-constructing then put all your money into things like hurricane rated shutters or doors or Windows. Also, get a good roof! Unplanned things happen all the time. When I walked outside Thursday morning I was in absolute awe at the damage that this cane did. It was downgraded to a category 3 storm right before landfall in siesta key. This is the first direct hit storm I have ever experienced in over 40 years in Florida. I have been watching the website https://poweroutage.us/area/state/florida and I have calculated that about 17000 restores are completed per hour. They’re working as fast as they can, I am grateful for sure. Things could have been far worse. I just remembered that it is Friday and other than my daily 40 push-ups (see my minimize me YouTube channel.) Right now, I am on the Hurricane Milton diet which is like this, basically I eat everything that is offered to me. On the way home from picking my mother up this lady flagged me down and told me that she just finished cooking and offered us food. She also had MRE’s there too and gave us 6 for the road! I was very happy about that. Let’s see I had 2 of them, 1 was spaghetti and meat sauce and 1 was vegetable lasagna. They were both very high carbohydrate meals for sure. I was grateful either way for them. Obviously, they were destined for the field where the consumers were going to be expected to exert energy. Then when we got home there was a sandwich and two small bottles of water there, so I gobbled that down with no problem.
there could have been anthrax in that sandwich as long as it tasted fine (which it did) I am eating anything and everything that is offered to me until electricity is restored. I remember this guy one time said he wasn’t eating anything because he was jailed in America for something he didn’t agree with. This was like 20 years ago, the benefits of fasting were unknown I think. Because all that is really needed for the human body to flourish is drinking water. There was a guy in Europe that went on straight water for 1 year. That is a very long fast. Fasting is similar to quitting alcohol. When you stop eating food, then you see that there are a lot of activities that are associated with eating.
