What is the fastest way to lose weight?
Short answer is fast Fasting intermittently or prolonged is so good for you!
Today, I am down to 197.4 pounds. I have been doing intermittent fasting every day now since the start of May 2024 at least probably before that. I also exercise on the Peloton twice every day. I focus on standing up multiple times during every ride and riding twice each day. Video of this at www.onlyyourbodymatters.com I don’t pay any attention to cadence and I never do their tapbacks, instead, I focus on never stopping pedaling and riding the bike twice every day. I checked and the amount of calories I burn on that bike every day is only around 125 per day. I do not care, it is in my home, I do not have to drive anywhere to exercise and that is very good I think. Mondays and Fridays, which is today. I strength train outside for about 20 minutes. I get on the scale every morning and I expect to see at least one pound lost. Usually, I see around 3 pounds of weight loss per day. I do a prolonged fast for 3 days every February and August, (every 6 months) and it is on those fast where I lose the most weight. my last 3 day February 2024 fast can be viewed here https://youtu.be/dW4rvBwimZM I love to eat food, I am not allergic to any foods and I love pretty much all foods except for liver and sea urchin. I have tried them both, and I do not like either of them. I can instantly smell when liver is being cooked, and I despise that smell. I remember when I first got started on this weight loss journey, I was 254.6 pounds and I watched a YouTube video by Dr. Mark Hyman, and he said in that video about how bad belly fat is to have, what it causes, and why it is so bad. I listened to that video and even though I exercise twice each day on the Peloton, I eat literally everything in site, and I was really overweight, I looked in the mirror and said to myself “You are fat!” Mark Hyman says all the time “You can’t exercise your way out of a bad diet” which is very true. So I started, it helps a lot that I do all of the grocery shopping. So I stopped a lot of things right then and there, I used to go to Chipotle all the time and even though I always got no rice (which I love), I stopped going there altogether, I stopped going to Starbucks which is very bad for your body. I stopped going to Chick Filet which I always thought was a healthy option, the only thing remotely healthy on their menu is grilled chicken tenders if you eat them plain and Ice water. The thing that I did not realize is that carbohydrates are the enemy of the human body. There is no requirement by the human body for carbohydrates, even “good” carbohydrates from vegetables are bad for the human body!
The worst foods to consume.
The worst foods that I can think of to never ever eat are Sugar, Bread, Flour (of any type), and cow Milk there is so much of that stuff in the foods that we eat that we don’t even know about. For example, I love Big Macs from McDonald’s, I order three of them when I get them unless they are 2 for 2 then I get 4 of them, no lettuce (because it’s worthless and gets pretty much everywhere), and extra pickles, I used to get extra sauce until they started charging .50 cents for that. I just found out that there are 131 grams of sugar in each Big Mac! There are also 3 pieces of bread in each Big Mac. Will I eat Big Macs again, for sure, I do not care, I love them, I ate 3 of them in February 2024. I now know what I am consuming though so I limit my consumption of them, I used to get them like 8-10 times a year and now I will probably just get them a couple of times a year, I know that 0 times a year is best. I also love Sushi a lot. Sushi is very expensive and I found this place in Clearwater that has endless Sushi. So I would drive there once a month and get 6 rolls (I used to get 8 rolls) they make the Sushi there to order. Any pieces left on your plate they charge extra for. They use to charge .50 cents per piece, then when Hyperinflation started, anything left on your plate would be charged at.85 cents per piece. Then the price went down to .65 cents per piece. I used to go there once per month and now I do not. I have not been there since early March 2024 and it is now June 2024. Will I go there again absolutely, I want to go there when I have a Continuous Glucose Monitor on just to see what I was doing to myself each time would be interesting. Sometimes, when I left there I would go to the Starbucks drive-through on the way back from Saki and the Spike in Glucose from that on top of what I just ate at Saki would be tremendous.
I did not know what I was doing to myself.
I was oblivious to the damage I was doing to myself. Well, at least now I know what kind of damage I have been doing to myself all these years. I have learned that eating food at all is very bad for you and not necessary. We have a hormone that signals hunger to us that starts in the stomach and signals the brain that we should eat. That hormone is wrong, and It is always better to ignore hunger, except if you are under 18, pregnant or have an eating disorder. I feel hungry all the time which is a good thing, I think when you notice hunger, that is a signal to me that what I am doing is working! When I feel hungry in any way I know that there is plenty of food to consume if I want it, but I pass each and every time because I know that eating is very bad for you. I love food though, I will eat many things that are bad for me going forward, but I will eat a lot less of these foods now that I know better. I will go right back to Chipotle because I love their food and it is quick and if you leave the rice out it is the best fast food selection that I can think of. I love their Guacamole too even though I think it is way too salty for whatever reason, they probably put that salt in there to make it last longer. When you order it, A large can be ordered, and it comes with chips, which I would just throw away and eat the Guac with a spoon. Also, I recently noticed that Taco Bell has very good guacamole too. The thing about Taco Bell’s Guac that I can see, is that they only sell it in small amounts, also with chips and I would need to order like 4 of them and then toss out the included chips. But at least they have a healthy option.
