How I actually lose weight

I am a male in my mid 40’s. I am 5 foot 9. I have been battling my weight since I was 11. So I am very familiar with both being overweight and dieting. I am a full-time Uber driver and I watch Dr. Mark Hyman’s videos on YouTube all the time. I love that guy. I do pretty much everything he and Dr. Peter Attia and Dr. Eric Berg say is good for you. Basically, what I do each day to lose weight is the following. I do what is called “intermittent fasting” pretty much every day. I only eat once per day which is at night and when I eat, I eat a salad that my mother makes and about 3/4 of a pound of ground chuck 80/20 “tube meat” which I also get from Walmart. I have an R.O. filter and chiller that I purchased in 2019 at home, and that is mostly what I drink every day. I also have always loved Diet Coke a lot more than regular Coke not because it is diet, I actually prefer it over regular Coke which I think is nasty. The fact that Diet Coke has 0 carbs and 0 calories is a bonus. Drinking Diet Coke is very bad for you though (it is sweetened with Aspartame which is basically synthetic sugar, and has been linked to cancer) but I really like it, so this is what I do about that. I purchase from Walmart the small 12 OZ. bottles instead of the taller and more expensive 16.9 OZ bottles that I also get from Walmart.  I do all the grocery shopping for my mother and myself with my mother’s food stamp card, and her Ucard too. So that helps a lot. I ride the Peloton twice a day and I fast (I eat no solid food for 3 days) twice a year since about 2016. (what I call a real fast).
