Vitamins and Exercise AND Quality Sleep!

As we age (I am in my mid-40s now) our bodies require more and more nourishment. When humans are under 40, a lot of things can be gotten away with.
As we approach 40 years of age things like the ability to just close our eyes to sleep changes, hair starts to grow from places it never grew before, we start to notice
that we are doing things that our biological parents did. Those of you that were adopted have the pleasure of not having to go through this. It’s not pretty
when you have no idea why you are admiring a cardboard box from Amazon, or why every time you lay down you cross your legs just like your father does and always did.
That is what happens that we NOTICE when we age. What is happening is we are ageing. The need to do something, anything in an attempt to slow down that process
and stay out of the doctors office and or the emergency room becomes more relevant to us and harder to actually do. For example, when I was in my 20’s and 30’s I used to stay up and often out
all night. Now that I am in my mid 40’s, 9PM is pretty late lol. It is not enough to say anymore that you have 8 hours to sleep. You actually NEED to be sleeping
for those 8 hours! There is a lot of good things that happen to our bodies when we sleep. Sleep is one of the 3 pillars of nourishment that our bodies use to
repair muscle fibers, and clear out all of the crap that was killed by your immune system while it was defending you. If you exercise a lot like I do, a lot of the benefits
occur when we sleep if you have ever heard the term “sleep on it” that is where it came from. We are supposed to wake up feeling refreshed a lot of good things occur
during quality sleep. I was in brussels like 25 years ago and I was not able to find an open bank on a Tuesday at around noon time, because the entire country shuts down each day
for a 3 hour siesta I learned that one the hard way. I recently read a book about it, and it was all about the importance of quality sleep. I listened to that book after listening to
“outlive” by Dr. Peter Attia. In that book it talks about the actual need for the human body to have quality sleep, It says in that book when the human body is deprived of sleep
you do not know it and it is just like being intoxicated.
