I had my last bite of solid food on 02/02/2025 at 3:10 PM ET. I will NOT eat any solid food for the next 14 days. I fast like this for the health benefits (Weight loss is a massive health benefit) I am after weight loss right now, but when I started fasting in 2017, I did it for the massive health benefits alone. In addition to weight loss, the benefits occur on a cellular level and to the entire digestive tract and gut, not to mention the brain benefits too. Yes, I have always been an over-eater which is a massive eating disorder, and yes I am hungry all the time during a fast like this. I just think of all the health benefits of fasting. I also think about how cheap fasting is. All the way around, fasting is just a very good thing to do. I intermittently fast doing O.M.A.D. every day and have since 04/09/2024 then in August 2024 I did a 7-day prolonged/extended fast and then after I completed that fast, I did a “Go crazy” day that I got from a Tim Ferris book that I read and then went right back to intermittent fasting and O.M.A.D. a “Go crazy” day is a day where I eat everything and anything I can think of, I got this from that same book too. During each week when I crave something or see something that I want to eat, I type it into a Google doc, and then when I am at the grocery store, I purchase and then eat everything on that list.
